Pennsylvania National Quilt Extrvaganze XVII
Date: September 16, 2010
Schedule: Leaving Manahawkin Community Center at 7:45 AM, stopping at Lacey rest stop on GSP at 8 AM, arriving at Greater Philadelphia Convention Center in Oaks, PA, about 10 AM. We will depart PA at 4:00 PM, arriving home about 6:00 PM. Snacks and water will be provided. Food can be purchased at the Convention Center.
Cost for trip: $25/members,$30/non-members (non-refundable after September 1st or find a replacement and have her pay you directly). Members will have first priority.

Appliquéd wreath with leaves and yo yo's
Background (light) 11 1/2" piece
Green 6 1/2" for the wreath
Scraps of Green for leaves - may be all different shades of green
scraps of color for yo yo's
Piece of freezer paper to trace design a 8'' strip, BSK, Pattern will be handed out... Also....

Refreshments Evening
There will be refreshments at evening meetings. June is Strawberry Social, strawberries and ice cream.
Yo-yo Christmas Tree Pattern Info
To make the Christmas Tree you will need 10 yo yo's, 2 for each size.
Cut 2 each---11",9",7 1/2" ,6",4".
Don't forget to cut a hole in the center of the circle before you make the yo yo.
You will also need a pencil and a spool from thread.

Mass at St Francis Parish in Brant Beach at 11:00 AM - Rt 72 East onto Long Beach Island - go straight until the end and turn right - go about 2 miles to the church on your right - burial in St Mary's Cemetary, off Rt 9, Manahawkin
Luncheon at Ocean Acres Country Club - around 12:30/1:00 PM
Texture Magic
TEXTURE MAGIC - On August 26th from 5pm to 9pm, at Mill Creek Comm. Center, Donna Cummins will be doing a demo of Texture Magic. This is to accommodate the afternoon people who don't want to come out at night. People can come and go as they please - we will have a short meeting after she finishes.
